L’Association municipale Mont-Royal (AMMR) est fière de présenter aux citoyens de Mont-Royal notre nouveau site web. Cet outil facilitera une meilleure communication entre les résidents de la Ville et l’AMMR, tout en gardant notre communauté connectée. L’Association municipale est également heureuse d’annoncer la nomination de Barbara Lapointe à son conseil d’administration. Mme Lapointe n’a ménagé aucun effort ces dernières années à sensibiliser les résidents de la Ville et les membres du Conseil aux questions qui intéressent et préoccupent notre communauté. Elle a acquis une compréhension profonde des problèmes qui importent aux résidents de la Ville et s’avérera être un ajout inestimable à notre association. Erik Anzarut, un résident de longue date de la Ville, devient également un des membres de notre conseil d’administration. Il a occupé un poste d’ingénieur civil pour la Ville de Montréal pendant 39 ans et son expérience sera des plus utiles. Mme Lapointe et M. Anzarut se joignent donc aux autres directeurs de l’AMMR, Allen Feldman, Rodney Allen, Kathy Elie, Barbara Handfield-Barbeau, Ralph Nobel, Lyette Soucy et Farid Tannous.
L’AMMR agit comme groupe de défense des citoyens dans la Ville depuis plus de 85 ans afin de préserver et de rehausser la qualité de vie à Ville Mont-Royal. À cet égard, nous insistons à suivre de près les activités et les décisions prises par le Conseil municipal. Les membres de notre conseil d’administration, qui sont tous des bénévoles, ont défendu de nombreuses causes au nom de nos citoyens au cours des années et continueront de le faire.

The Mount Royal Municipal Association (MRMA) is proud to introduce the citizens of Mount Royal to our new website which will facilitate better communication between the MRMA and Town residents and keep our community connected. The MRMA is also pleased and excited to announce the addition of Barbara Lapointe to its Board. Mrs. Lapointe has spared no effort these past several years in bringing issues of interest and concern to the attention of both Town residents and Council, has acquired a deep understanding of the issues that are important to Town residents, and will prove to be an invaluable addition to our Association. Also joining our Board is Eric Anzarut, a longtime resident of the Town, who served in the capacity of civil engineer for the City of Montreal for 39 years, and whose experience will prove most helpful. Mrs. Lapointe and Mr. Anzarut join MRMA directors Allen Feldman, Rodney Allen, Kathy Elie, Barbara Handfield-Barbeau, Ralph Nobel, Lyette Soucy and Farid Tannous.
The MRMA has operated as a citizens’ advocacy group in the Town for over 85 years to preserve and enhance the quality of life in Town of Mount Royal. In this regard, we place particular emphasis on closely monitoring Town Council activities and decisions. Our Board members, all of whom are volunteers, have taken up many causes on behalf of our citizens over the years and will continue to do so.
